What is incontinence?
The incontinence definition just refers to anytime someone cannot control their bladder or bowels. Bladder and bowel incontinence are common, especially among older adults, and supplies like pull-ups, diapers, and pads are here to help.
What are pull-ups? Should I use them?
Pull-ups are an absorbent, comfortable product that looks and feels like real underwear. Perfect for anyone that will be putting the product on themselves, pull-ups easily slide off and on and provide a snug, comfortable fit. With options like overnight pull-ups, gender-specific pull-ups, and youth pull-ups, pull-ups come in all shapes and sizes, so no matter your body or needs, we have a pull-up for you.
Are diapers with tabs right for me?
Diapers with tabs are another ultra-absorbent and comfortable options for those experiencing incontinence. Unlike pull-ups, diapers with tabs tend to work best for those caring for someone else. Their simple refastenable straps allow you to put them on a loved one with precise snugness, and our diapers with tabs are
some of our most absorbent offerings. Since diapers with tabs fit waist sizes of up to 106”, we have options that work for almost every body type.
If you need an extra boost of absorbency, a booster pad can be placed inside a diaper with tabs for double the protection.
Should I use pads?
Experiencing light incontinence and not quite ready for a pull-up or diaper with tabs? Pads offer a lighter absorbency, comfortable and convenient alternative to heavier products. Typically placed into existing underwear with an adhesive backing, pads are ideal for anyone who needs protection but doesn’t like to wear a pull-up or tab-style diaper. Gender-specific varieties like men’s guards and women’s pads provide targeted protection, and belted pads and pant liners provide extra support for users who want to feel more secure.
Prefer a pad but need a high absorbency? Some people prefer the fit of a pad, or have bodily restrictions that keep them from wearing products around their waist (as you would need to do for an underwear style). Fortunately, bowel pads are a heavy-duty alternative that can even handle bowel incontinence.
What are underpads? When should I use underpads?
Underpads are large rectangular pads placed on surfaces to protect them against incontinence. Fitting wheelchairs, beds, couches, and almost anything else, underpads are an ideal solution against all types of moisture. Some people even use them as “puppy pads” for their furry friends!
